Benedict Halsy Fine Art

Benedict is an impressionistic figurative artist. and photographer.

 He paints almost exclusively from live poses, working quickly to capture light and form. His goal in each painting is to record a moment, a feeling, that is fleeting in reality, but captured for in paint forever.  According to Benedict, "Art should be an experience from begging to to end.  From the stretching of the canvas and the final brush stroke, to the experience of the viewer."  

Halsy has an afinity for the dark. He often paints in fantasy and horror themes. He also creates and sells cyanotype prints of his photogtraphy.
